Missouri Imagery Data

MSDIS is proud to offer a variety of high-resolution statewide imagery services for download. Additionally, many of these datasets are also available as image services through our ArcGIS Server.

The Missouri Map

MSDIS has developed The Missouri Map as a central application that collects all of our existing downloadable imagery and elevation data into a single interactive mapping interface.

MSDIS also maintains several download folders for our users who do not wish to use The Missouri Map. Links to those folders, as well as descriptions of the imagery projects available for download, are listed below.

NAIP Data

MSDIS has multiple years of NAIP imagery available for download:

NAIP 2018
NAIP 2016
NAIP 2014

100K DRGs

30x60 minute series 1:100 000 scale DRGs from the USGS map coverage index for the State of Missouri. The original data were projected in NAD27 and were reprojected as NAD83.

USGS 1:100,000 Topo! Maps

These county-wide, seamless, and hill-shaded mosaics of USGS 1:100,000 topographic mapshave been created using National Geographic's TOPO!™ and TOPO! GIS extension along with the MrSID™ compression software at the Geographic Resources Center (GRC).

This production has been made possible through a special license agreement with National Geographic Maps and Wildflower Productions as part of an augmentation to the Lewis and Clark Historic Landscape Project conducted at the GRC in cooperation with the Office of the Missouri Secretary of State and the Missouri State Archives.

PLEASE NOTE: These are not USGS DRG (digital raster graphic) files and should not be confused with such although they do depict the same data. In many cases, the maps used for these mosaics are newer updates than those provided in the DRG file directory on the Missouri Spatial Data Information Service (MSDIS) ftp site. The image resolution for these files is 15 meters.
