Cancellation and / or Refund Policy
In order to cover its costs the Geospatial Training Center (GTC) will
handle cancellations and refunds in the following manner:
Notification
All Student and Instructor cancellations should be directed to:

Cancellations should be attempted as soon as a student or instructor
knows that they will be unable to attend. Timely cancellations provide
the maximum notice - possibly enabling the GTC to refund registration
fees – see conditions for refund below.
If a scheduled class is to be cancelled by the GTC or an Instructor then
students will be notified via email or by phone within 2 working days.
Notification to students and instructor/s will go out as soon as cancellation
notification can be confirmed.
Student Cancellations –
Conditions for receiving a refund:
Student cancellations of their registration – for any reason - will
be accepted up to 1 business week prior (cancellation will be
accepted if received by COB on the sixth work day before) to the class’s
beginning. A $25.00 service charge will be assessed for processing of
all student cancellations.
In the event that a student can’t attend due to any variety of
reasons that preclude a refund - a substitute may attend in his or her
place with instructor approval.
GTC or Instructor Cancellations –
If class is cancelled for any variety of reasons (to include but not
be limited to – inadequate registration, instructor illness or inability
to teach class through non-attendance) then all registered participants
for that class will receive full refunds.
