UPDATES FOR 2009 -XLS file from DESE received via email. File is imported into Microsoft Access. Latitude and Longitude from previous year's layer is transferred to new file using Access update query. (Common column is school number.) There were no changes to school locations from the previous year. Table was then displayed as XY events. Events were then exported to personal geodatabase. Spatial join to county boundaries was made to add a column for county name.
