Discrepencies were identified and corrected. May 2007 Fields from geocoder stripped (Arc_ fields) and cryptic location codes changed from Centrus Geocoder style codes to simplified codes used by DHSS May 2007 Personal geodatabase is exported to shape file. May 2007 Metadata for April 2007 adult day care layer is exported to text. Process steps are edited. May 2007 Shape file is copied from temporary workspace into facility directory located at DHSS as M:\GISDATA\FAcility. Shape file from April 2007 is deleted. New file is copied to daycare_Adult.shp in its place. May 2007 Shape file is also copied into SDE for use in IMS sites. Excel file for 2008 adult day cares received from Section for Long Term Care Regulation. File is imported into Access database. State column is added and populated with state = MO. Feb 13, 2008 Access is brought into ArcView, geocoded into shape file using Centrus Geocoder for ArcGIS. Attributes are exported back to a table. In Access, records from 2007 with loc_code = MAP are identified. Where available, researched location from 2007 were written over the centroid locations returned by the geocoder. March 3, 2008 Process_Date March 3, 2008 County names were verified to county boundaries and edited as necessary to be correct. Names were changed to mixed case in the process. March 3, 2008 Metadata from 2007 adult day cares was exported to text and updated for 2008. Metadata in text form imported back into shape file. Shape file from 2008 copied from data development folder into M:\GISDATA\Facility. Previous year was renamed and new file put in its place.
