Missouri 2 Foot Resolution Aerial Photography
During 2007, the eastern half of the State of Missouri was photographed at 2 foot resolution, leaf off.The remaining areas of the western half of the state were shot in spring 2008 and these data have now been processed and made available.
12/17/2009 A dataset depicting image acquisition dates for the 2 foot resolution, leaf-off digital orthophotograph quarter quadrangles (DOQQ) produced for Missouri between 2007 and 2009 can be found here:
These data are very large in size. In order to make them available for public download without consuming all available bandwidth the imagery has been processed into MrSid format by USGS 1:24,000 Quad. These data are avaialable via free download BUT please note these files can be more than 100Mb each.
County extent SID files are also available, but are too large for download. Please visit the following link to order the County extent SIDs or the full resolution geotiffs (fees may apply - see MSDIS Data Delivery Policy).
These data are organized by quad in similar manner to DRG data. To find the 7.5 minute quadrangle size photographic data that you need, click the 1 degree by 1 degree lat/long block which will take you to a more detailed map showing the 64 7.5 minute quads for that lat/long block. From there, simply identify the quad you want and click the text link for it to download the file.
